Here is an easy quick way to save your Samsung from water damage. First thing you must do is don’t panic this is reversible. The second thing is do not turn it on obviously it will not work and will surely create short circuit and will totally damage your Samsung phone. Next thing is remove your battery and remove the casing or housing of your phone, with Samsung or other brand it’s hard to remove the casing and housing of the phone because of the screws. After removing the housing of the unit let the water drain. When the phone is totally drained, use a vacuum cleaner to vacuum the residual water, do not use hair dryer. After the vacuum put the unit into a rice box for 24 hours, make sure that the rice box is semi-warm place. After 24 hours, put the Samsung unit in an open area with indirect contact with sun.
